Steeped in over 350 years of history and nestled within 376 acres of National Trust grounds, any wedding at the stunning Cliveden House is sure to be a spectacularly romantic occasion. With its picturesque antique furniture and captivating period features, this Grade I stately home was the perfect backdrop for this chic, white and gold-themed October wedding.
An idyllic setting for celebrating a love story
Serving as a 5-star luxury hotel, Cliveden House is tailor-made for making quintessential English country house wedding dreams a reality. Along with its impeccably manicured grounds and exquisite architecture, the couple’s guests were able to immerse in the unparalleled comfort of its sumptuous interiors by staying onsite in the Estate’s lavish array of rooms and suites.
To the moon and back
The ceremony took place under two statement moon gates, with a bespoke aisle breathtakingly adorned with fragrant arrangements of cream, white and green florals. A classical harpist created a calming, fairy tale atmosphere as the stunning bride made her way towards her groom, for an unforgettable ceremony followed by an elegant drinks reception.
Timeless romance is served
Continuing the timeless celebration, a romantic string quartet set the scene as guests came together over their shared love for the couple, before being ushered to Cliveden House’s iconic French Dining Room for a delicious sit-down wedding breakfast. Creatively styled with an abundance of florals, including a bespoke fireplace piece and wildly romantic urns, the room came alive with the couple’s ultra-chic sense of style, which was flawlessly echoed in the bride’s sleek, minimalist gown.
A one-of-a-kind gown for a party like no other
Radiating with beauty and ready to dance the night away, the bride then slipped into a bespoke gown for the evening reception, while the groom looked exceptionally dapper in a navy-tailored Tom Ford suit.
