The perfect blend of grandeur and warmth, with antique furniture, period features and a ‘home from home’ feel. Embracing the romance of the season at Cliveden House, this autumn affair was planned by Kristina Kempton, designed by Larry Walshe Studios and captured by Barker Evans.

Guests find themselves in the beautiful Berkshire countryside at Cliveden House, an elegant country house venue for a wedding day brimming with swoon-worthy details and design elements that will make your heart flutter. The day began with an all-white ceremony followed by a deliciously decadent wedding reception with décor and palettes that you’ll want to steal for your own special day.

The ceremony was a dreamscape of white with a mirrored aisle and stage, and an organic, stylised magnolia tree which crept across the ceiling of the Cockerell Pavilion. Guests had the illusion of sitting beneath a canopy of blossoming blooms, with the texture and shape capturing the light throughout the ceremony. Elegant drapery surrounding the Pavilion architecture added a subtle softness and romance to the autumn-inspired ceremony space, while white Chandelle chairs from GreatHire continued the luxurious feel throughout.

As the couple and their loved ones moved onto the wedding reception, the dinner was an opulent design designed to showcase the ornate nature of the French Dining Room, working in textured of gold and midnight blue for extra indulgence. Custom created table-tops, individually etched with the guest names, were enhanced further using exquisite tableware by Duchess & Butler, alongside embroidered napkins from Hand & Lock, hand-finished menus from Millie Stone and the most divine table linen from Just4Linen. A dining experience worthy of a fairy tale wedding for the 30 lucky guests!

Hand & Lock embroidered the initial of each guest to create a deeply unique and personal tablescape, perfectly partnered with thousands of midnight blue hydrangeas running along the centre of the table for a sumptuous and romantic style. When guests looked up, the most incredible midnight blue delphiniums were suspended from the ceiling for an extra dash of drama. Created by the epic team at Larry Walshe, the floral installation was entwined with antique Italian crystal chandeliers for a soft, warm glow that added to the ambience of the dinner.

As eyes fell back on the table, cut crystal accessories mirrored the refraction of light seen above to ensure a decadent yet inviting environment within which guests celebrated, wined and dined in the most intimate of settings.

Mirrors, embellished with phrases that were personal to the couple in both French and English, were designed by Millie Stone. Dining chairs from GreatHire ensured every detail was divine and carefully considered. Candlelight worked in harmony alongside lighting and sound from Fusion to add the final finishing flourish for this heart-stoppingly beautiful autumn wedding at Cliveden House.
